my webmail inbox messages used to be deleted once I downloaded them to my mail client. it is no longer doing so. I’m running MIAB version 62 on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS.
It sounds like there was a change within your mail client.
IMAP does not delete messages while POP3 deletes them by default.
I found the culprit. I have multiple domain name email account in my client and one of them had leaving mail on the server checked. Once I unchecked that all the downloaded mail was removed from the server. Thanks!
