Updating to v0.17b failing

I’m having issues upgrading to 0.17b, when executing sudo mailinabox I get the following output -

…fail!

If i start the spampd service manually it doesn’t error.

Since this has happened none of the status checks are working on the admin web interface, (I get an error of “something went wrong, sorry”). All of the aliases I created are also from the admin page, although they are working - I’ve sent test emails.

Any help would be greatly received!

try reinstalling perl, that’s what it is missing (according to error messages)

Also are you on Ubuntu 14.04?

I’ve got a stage further now, after restarting the box the script ran fine, however, nginx is now failing, I’m getting rejected connection attempts.

Just about to dig in to the logs…

I’m running 14.04.4 LTS btw

nginx error log says

2016/03/10 22:11:58 [warn] 10893#0: “ssl_stapling” ignored, issuer certificate not found

The security certificate is missing it would seem.

Not sure what was going on there - after a further reboot the box is now working just fine.

@murgero - thank you very much for the quick reply, I rely on mailinabox for all my email and panicked when it broke. Got 100’s of aliases on there.

Just remember to download all your backups and secret key!!!
