hi,
I am using the K-9 Mail on my mobile device and it works great.
You can easily connect your Mail-in-a-Box account with a third party client like Thunderbird, Outlook or K-9 Mail to receive and send Email.
See the configuration for desktop and mobile clients on your administration panel under: Mail>Instructions
I setup on my webserver an instance of Rainloop. Best non-Google webmail solution I have found. There was discussion of whether to include it or not.
From my google-fu, it looks like its back as an option, but in limbo. But, again, you can get around this by just using it as a stand-alone installation on another VPS/node/server.
Google-fu is defined as “skill in using search engines (especially Google) to quickly find useful information on the Internet.” It is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek reference to kung-fu, which is generally perceived as requiring a high degree of skill to master in the western hemisphere.7 Apr 2011

You can also deploy the latest version of the application without a need to deal with zip archive, just run one of the following commands in your terminal:
To access admin panel, use URL of the following kind: http://product_installation_URL/?admin
For example: http://webmail.domain.com/?admin
Default login is “admin”, password is “12345”.
