Skip putting spam in spam folder

Is there a way to have spamassassin flag my spam but not put it in the spam folder and let the filters in roundcube do that? There are some email I want to mark as “never spam” or “always spam”. It seems possible to set up roundcube filters to do that but mail is filed in the spam folder before the filters see it.

Am I missing the obvious here?

This is the one issue is keeping me from moving off gmail. I need email sent to this one email address to never be logged as spam.

You can use roundcube filtering to move spam mail to a different folder maybe?
