SHA1 fingerprints don't match

Hello, I am having the same problem described here:

“the SHA1 Fingerprint that the installer returned wasn’t the same as the one that the browser reported when I first tried to open the control panel url.”

If not a MITM, what could this mean? Shall I re-run the installation process?
