I want my domain to point to a different IP address for web and ssh than the IP address for my box. subdomain. While still delivering mail sent to me@mydomain.com correctly, I want to use the domain for a non-static website.
Is this as simple as adding an A record for .mydomain.com pointing to my second IP address? I’m asking because it’s a bit confusing to me that I never had to set up any MX records with my registrar.
Edit: To clarify I have ns1.box. and ns2.box. in my A records currently (not using Gandi).
