Outbound port 25 SMTP gets blocked randomly on DigitalOcean droplet

Hi there,

I logged into MiAB admin console today and saw that port 25 is blocked. During this time, I could not SSH into my droplet either.

While I searched the forum for similar issues, and refreshed the MiAB console after about 5 minutes, the issue got fixed and there was no error.

I’ve seen similar behaviour with the MiAB service at times when it randomly just stops and the console gives an error. Similar stuff with SpamAssassin as well.

Please note that this happens very randomly and I can’t seem to put a pin on it. There is nothing running on my droplet except MiAB with backups enabled.
