Move existing mailboxes to a new domain

I recently lost my main domain (.tk messed up the auto-renewal after 14 year :frowning: )
What is the easiest way to move my mailboxes that where first linked to to , i have a few GB of data in there so the nicest would be a rename.

Note the server itself is already running on the new domain, i just need to move the mailboxes to this new domain now

Create the users as normal, then rename the directory in home/user-data/mail/mailboxes for that old domain to the new domain.

Of course, you need to do this before you receive any email to the domain, or you’ll need to merge mailboxes first, which you don’t want to have to do.
