It’s been a while since I’ve been on here and that is mostly due to the awesome work of @JoshData and the MiaB team. I have had no major issues since setup and through all of my upgrades (on Contabo btw).
My question today is about the backups. I have made a few changes to my server over the last year of use: puck.nether.net secondary domain, offsite backup to S3 compatible storage (also Contabo), and a few additions to my greylist config to stop delaying certain domains. What if any of these changes will be carried over in the backups and which will I need to manually move? I am moving to a lower cost server (same or better spec and clean reputation on the IP) by choice and not due to an outage so I can have both boxes running side by side to grab any config or setup from the old box. But, being a persnickety engineer, I wanted to prepare for the move with as much info as possible to reduce downtime.
One more question is when I move the backups over and do the restore, will the new MiaB just keep adding to the incremental backups as if nothing happened, or will it start over?
