Late upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04, read this!

If you are still running Ubuntu 14.04 and did not upgrade before it went EoL, you will have problems - guaranteed.

Read this post for help resolving these problems, and next time upgrade before your OS becomes EoL.

Ubuntu 14.04 is technically not EOL until April 2022. Standard support however ran out, it is still getting security releases (technically)
