Hello, I broke my phone and need to disable 2FA. Any idea how to do it. I have 2FA secret code, but no place to input it.

Long story short, I tried the method outlined in the posting and everything was fine until I tried to disable the account. The message said “User not found”. I only have 3 users and when I followed the steps to show my user id, it gave a response, so I’m sure I have the right user id. Is it because I am signed in as that user? I am the only admin and it’s my account.
What to do to reset now?
End user error, was using the wrong syntax. 
Instructions in the previous post are accurate.
