Dovecot / RoundCube errors

HI Guys
Server has been running for a few years - issue came up with /boot being filled up & services not working correctly.
Went through the removal of older kernels to allow me to update
Ran the bash setup command to upgrade to latest which is running
I can get to /admin /cloud & /mail pages
/admin & /cloud logs in perfectly
/mail refuses to login
Mail users are unable to IMAPs or SMTP through the server.

RoundCube error.log shows the following
Could not connect to ssl://localhost:993: Connection timed out in /usr/local/lib/roundcubemail/program/lib/Roundcube/rcube_imap.php on line 200 (POST /mail/?_task=login&_action=login)

Have confirmed that 993 is LISTENING on the server

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:993 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

Have done apt-get update/upgrade & re-ran the setup commands
All completes perfectly but the connection is unable to complete.
Not sure what else to do ?
Please help.

Have you customized anything? Because MiaB configures the server to delete all but the past few kernels automatically, so that should not be interrupting services or updating.

Does the MiaB dashboard status checks page report anything?

What version are you on?
