Disabling auto-creation of autodiscover DNS records?

Hey all,

Having an interesting issue here, just upgraded to the 18.04 versions and discovered (haha) that autodiscover is now present by default - which is great, but my users just use IMAP.

However - some accounts get forwarded to Outlook/365, so I need to make an autodiscover.domain.com CNAME record to jump over to microsoft, but I already have these as A records set by the box.

Do I have to jump into unofficial modifications to make this happen?

Any advice would be great!

Create a custom DNS record. These automatically override the default records.

My issue then would be that other users who might use autodiscover for Zpush wouldn’t be able to? I guess it’s just down to my decision of who gets what feature.
