I’m decommissioning my MIAB Server. I’ve redirected DNS to another service provider. I downloaded my old mail into thunderbird through imap. (Which is fine for me) however. I did forget to export my contacts. I still have SSH access to the box. Is there anyway to get an export of contact lists through SSH or FTP? I’m hoping if that fails, that I will be able to access my box through the web interface once my rDNS is removed.
A quick google search seems like there isn’t a way to interact with NextCloud to get the contacts from CLI.
I was thinking there is/was an occ command for this but it doesn’t appear there is…
cd /usr/local/lib/owncloud
sudo -u www-data php occ list

Also, you can get both contacts and calendar at https://203.0.113.86/cloud

Yes I thought I would be able to go to the ip address and then login. However, my browser continues to try to resolve to my domain, which DNS no longer resolves to that IP. I’ve asked my Host to remove any rdns record. I still get a

when trying to navigate directly to the IP
Somehow you have something like a 301 permanent redirect from the IP address to your domain, which is not a default configuration for MiaB.
PTR records (rDNS) are not generally used by a browser.
I must have messed up the DNS configurations when I was trying to switch away. Should I be looking to edit my nginx.conf? where would that be on a MIAB install?
Or would it be better to run a backup and then rebuild?
Why don’t you just re-run setup and install MiaB over the top of the existing install to correct whatever was customized?
Or maybe you could use host files on your local pc to point to the old IP to get contacts and then remove it when your done.
