Built-in mail audit/impersonation support?

It would be quite handy if Mail-in-a-Box included built in support for auditing/impersonating user accounts for admin purposes - essentially being able to view and send email from the perspective of that user.

I know that something like that can be implemented with master accounts in Dovecot (per Accessing other user inbox), but it’s an extra manual step that doesn’t go into the Git repo, and it doesn’t integrate with the Mail in a Box user/password DB.

Is that something that people feel is within the scope of the project?

My opinion is no as the scope of the product is focused towards individuals and/or small business use.

And in an enterprise environment there are too many liability issues to be concerned with to ever want to deal with being able to read user emails.
