Is there a way to tell mail-in-a-box that I would like it to save all emails sent through it’s smtp server to be saved in the respecting SENT folder?
This takes the responsibility from the client.

Your easiest way of doing this is likely by configuring postfix. Have a look at this such example below, which does address I think what you’re trying to do and also discusses a general situation of how to make copies of every user’s outgoing mail.
Just keep in mind that this isn’t supported and there is not a configurable way to currently do this from within mail-in-a-box.
