Why is it topics get closed when they havent been anwsered?!

I’m still interested in answers to this: https://discourse.mailinabox.email/t/repeater-email-status-checks-change-notice/1014/2 but it has been automatically closed…?! Why? this hasnt been anwsered. Does this happen to other people? whats the point of this forum if the computer says no…?
