I have a customer domain hosted on MAIB. They want to move their email to Microsoft Office 365 hosted solution. I have tried to add new MX records in Custom DNS but this does conflict with MIAB default functionality and does not appear to function in a way that would replace the default MX record. Can I continue to use MIAB as a DNS server or will I be required to define a new DNS server at the registrar?
If you are not using MiaB for hosting a domain’s email, then using MiaB for DNS may be more trouble than it is worth, though it can be made to work.
Another dns solution might be to use Univention Corporate Server (UCS) it has a web-gui for dns as well.
