Ubuntu release-upgrade

Hi There,

i know that the only supported way to upgrade to v60 is a new box with Ubuntu 22.04. Does somebody try to the migration with:

  • backup
  • do-release-upgrade
  • restore
    ???

I ask because that would be the best way to keep my ip address.

Which VPS provider do you use that does not allow you to reinstall the OS? :open_mouth:

I am working with Hetzner in Germany.

I am workinh with Hetzner and i found the function i need to rebuild the box with a new os image…
