You must use Ubuntu 14.04, as the instructions state.

I got this in my mail today from root (Of course I know better than to just go run the command) but others may not…so if you got this same email, and you’re thinking about doing the update, DON’T!

Cron: test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.weekly )

/etc/cron.weekly/update-notifier-common:
    New release '16.04.1 LTS' available.
    Run 'do-release-upgrade' to upgrade to it.
