SSD or NVME, is NVME that much better

So I’m going to set up on Contabo, I have the option for a 100gb NVME or 400gb SSD. I like the idea of capacity and wonder if an NVME would make a big difference in performance for a mail server… wondering others thoughts? Is the NVME that much more worth it.

For a mail server the NVME will not make a noticeable difference. For a website such as Wrodpress based one YES. But only static htmls are supported so far with MIAB.

I agree, SSD should be more than sufficient for a mail server. I still use spinning disk and it works out great.
