Solved: Static site on subdomain, how to configure?

I’ve got MIAB running perfectly with several domains and want to move one of the last domains I’ve got over to the MIAB box. It only hosts email for the main domain @example.com and hosts static sites on example.com and site.example.com.

How do I create/enable the static site at site.example.com? Do I need to create a dummy email address at mail@site.example.com.

To do this:

  1. Create the email account "user1@site.example.com"
  2. You will now be able to host static site in /home/user-data/www/site.example.com

creating an alias is probably enough

Just went with adding the user and it looks like its working.
