I’m a little confused what smpt relay is and do I need to configure it as it seems that everything is working.
I just setup my mailinabox on vps1 and I have vps2 that hosts my docker c# application.
The app uses mailkit library to send email with my mailinabox account.
The question is do I need to configure postfix on vps2 from SMTP relay instruction provided on mailinabox website or actually using the mailkit library does this for me? Thanks.
Just configure it as any other SMTP server. Use port 587 if port 25 Outbound is blocked on VPS2. Make sure port 25 Outbound is open on VPS1 or MIAB will not be able to send.
