Is there any place to see what it is or is not doing? I had some other issues (w/IPV6) but did this, and everything progressed to this point:
nano /etc/gai.conf
Uncomment the following line:
precedence ::ffff:0:0/96 100
New Linode 2gb Ubuntu 14.04
