Hey folks, I’ve been trying to set up Mail-in-a-Box on a VPS running Ubuntu 22.04, but I’ve run into a few roadblocks, mainly with the installer not completing properly. I suspect it might be due to the VPS provider’s configurations or restrictions on certain ports like 25.
Has anyone here had success getting MIAB running on Ubuntu 22.04? Any VPS provider recommendations that worked well for you?

There have been issues in the past with specific images from VPS providers during install.
Port 25 is not an issue for the installer. You can still use a relay for outbound email.
It is preferable to have IPV6 enabled as the installer has struggled without it. Not sure if that is fully resolved.
Contabo works great for me and I know a few other use it as well. If you search you willl find a thread of with suggestions or experiences with providers.

Yes to Linode. Also Vultr… though if you require zero downtime, Vultr is not the place.
