Rule for e-mail forwarding if local mailbox / e-mail address cannot be found

If a mailbox cannot be found for my own domain, is it possible for these emails to be sent to a relay host?

So far the message appears:
“Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table”

Many thanks for your help…

You want a catch-all address. You can set this up on the Aliases page in the administration GUI:

Untitled

A catch-all address won’t specifically forward messages to a relay host, but you can set up a real account for the messages to go in to, then set rules on that account to forward all incoming mail to any destination you like.

I’d recommend against just using the alias to forward mail to an external mail server since you’ll end up forwarding mail you’re not listed as an authorized sender for.
