Remove root and www from System Status Checks

I’m pretty sure that mailinabox can operate with only the “” DNS A record configured, and still be able to send mail as (without A records for @ or www being configured). Other than the system status checks complaining, will there be any real penalty for this? Could this be an officially supported feature similar to external DNS? Not everyone who wants to configure a mailserver wants it to serve their root and www domains as well.
