Problem to send emails (SMTP 25)

I’ve installed the MIAB in a Digital Ocean droplet. The installation was fine but there’s a problema with the SMTP port 25 that I don’t know how to fix. I’m not an expert in the subject but probably because of this problem I can’t send any email (but I can receive emails from the world). The error message is:

“Outbound mail (SMTP port 25) seems to be blocked by your network. You will not be able to send any mail. Many residential networks block port 25 to prevent hijacked machines from being able to send spam. A quick connection test to Google’s mail server on port 25 failed.”"

I already did this checks:

~$ sudo ip route
default via 159.203.80.1 dev eth0
159.203.80.0/20 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 159.203.86.122

~$ sudo iptables-save

Can you, please, help me?

Alexandro Strack

This might have been a Google problem as I also saw that today on my box.

Check it again and try sending a test message.

I did a test but the problem remains. It seems that it relates to ipv6 in digital ocean (as it blocks smtp outgoing in port 25).
