Prevent emails from user@subdomain.example.com

By default, MiaB wants to use subdomain.example.com for outbound emails, such as root@subdomain.example.com.

How do I make it so the outbound emails only use example.com?

Create and use the account username@example.com.

The initial account should really only be used for admin purposes, IMHO.

This is more for system messages from the server itself.

I don’t understand. Please elaborate.

When the server sends system messages it currently uses root@subdomain.example.com. I want root (and all system generated messages) to be from user@example.com (e.g., root@example.com).

The MiaB system notices come from administrator@hostname. So no, there is not a way to change this behaviour that is within the scope of this project.
