/etc/postfix/main.cf
How can I insure they remain after MIAB does updates?
I’m not aware of an easy way. You’ll probably have to add them each time you run the Mail in a Box setup.
As a general guide, if the system (eg postfix) supports .local config files, you can put your mods in there. The main files will be updated but your .locals are untouched. Any changes to the config files that MIAB generates/touches might (probably will) get clobbered on update/reinstall.
