Postfix : check_recipient_access

Hi all,

I am thinking of moving my very old mail server to new kit and use MiaB… I am confident the features blow my current configuration out of the water, but there are two things I do do, that I cant see reference to… Both are postfix features

check_recipient_access mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-virtual-rejects.cf,

check_sender_access hash:/etc/postfix/sender_checks

but I am looking at the statements on the web site

  * **Not** make something customizable by power users.

and I am quite sure there was a warning not to alter config as it will be overwritten…

If I were to configure the two features of postfix above, would they get “unconfigured” at some point?

would love to get your thoughts before I commit to this brave new world!

Thanks

As per my (tiny) experience, any change you made to existing scripts will prevent you from running the update scripts (in order to install a newer version) unless you revert those changes.
