POP or IMAP and SMTP Setup with Thunderbird

Trying to setup Thunderbird to retrieve and send my e-mail through my MIAB.

Can’t get past “Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account”

Can anyone help?

All of the necessary details are in the admin area.

Look under Mail>Instructions.

Can you take a screenshot of the set-up window? I’ve had trouble there before because I didn’t set all of the settings correctly.

I found that the IMAP and SMTP servers showed “.domain.com” and not “box.domain.com” and all of the other options were set to autodetect. You might want to set the ports and protocols, ie, 993 SSL/TLS for IMAP and 587 STARTTLS for SMTP.

I don’t check back here often, so apologies if these steps don’t help and I don’t reply promptly.
