Owncloud is already at the latest version

Currently ownCloud 8.1.1 (stable) is installed on my just updated box 0.15.
During the install of version 0.15 it reported that ‘Owncloud is already at the latest version’. The latest stable version according to Owncloud.com is 8.2.2.

I know there where a lot of problems updating in the past, but what’s the current view on Owncloud? Any replacement software in mind or updates planned?

Waiting @JoshData answer to this post before going to update my main (production one) MiaB server to v0.15. I’ll stay tuned. Thanks in advance!

The message is the result of running ownCloud’s database migration command. It’s saying there’s no data migration necessary because it was last run at the same version that’s already installed.

Per https://github.com/mail-in-a-box/mailinabox/issues/514, I do not like ownCloud, but I haven’t had time to look into alternatives.

What about SOGo? Provides Webmail, Calendar, Contacts and this with native ActiveSync Backend (no Zpush) needed :wink:
