Outlook 2016 ActiveSync Calendar does not sync with Nextcloud calendar

When I connect to mail-in-a-box with Outlook 2016 using active sync, the calendar items I create in Outlook don’t show up in Nextcloud. And conversely, the calendar items I create in nextcloud don’t show up in Outlook.

Unlike my contacts which do show up in the Nextcloud contacts screen.

What do I need to setup to make my calendar items sync up like my contacts do?

You need to use a CalDAV addon in outlook I believe.
