Can anyone give me direction of setting up an out of office reply using a thunderbird or outlook mail client? Currently, my clients have to log into Roundcube and set this up, which annoys them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thunderbird and Outlook are local E-Mail-Clients so they must be running to answer your E-Mails. (Copied form here)
Therefore they can’t avoid roundcube.
This extension should work: https://github.com/thsmi/sieve
(Mail filter/reply rules are run by Dovecot, not Roundcube.)
