I just setup Mail-in-a-box and had to deal with namecheap support in changing over to ns1.box.maad.io and ns2.box.maad.io. I just checked my DNS status and it’s reporting that there are glue records (with the correct IP) but there are no A records for ns1.box.maad.io (and ns2). Do I need to wait longer or do I need to contact them again? (Custom nameservers can’t be done in the control panel, need to get with support)
Edit: much later: Digital Ocean’s default DNS servers (google) wasn’t amused with a .io domain. Deleted the VM, used a .com domain and it worked instantly.
