Multi-person Project to update MiaB for current and future spam protection?

I’m not a developer. But I like to organize things and people. I’m analytical with user experience. I like to write clear explanations of things.

I’ve loved the MiaB project. I want to get my toes wet in an open source project so this seems like a good place to start by offering the skills I do have.

I think we all struggle to juggle what interests us. From poking around the forum, it seems many have wanted to improve the junk mail aspect but it probably is overwhelming.

This may not fully happen to completion but is anyone open to starting a discussion on what could be done as the next step?

These are next actions from my perspective and maybe something we can just start doing right here.

  • Publish workarounds in one place that don’t break too much or only require a quick fix / modification after every .xx update
  • Create an accurate assessment and explanation of what is so challenging in general about junk mail filtering
  • And then also what’s challenging about implementing possible solutions into MiaB

But I’m very open to any other course as well.
