I lately moved my MiaB from an ancient IPv4 only to a server with IPv6.
It worked perfectly fine, but all domains except the box.domain.com have no AAAA records. Is this behaviour intended and do I need to create AAAA records manually?

As Fail2ban and other important services doesn’t handle IPv6 yet, I am quite skeptical about showing external services IPv6 address. But I agree that it should, but on a security perspective, it is not yet ready.
Ah this sound reasonable.
Maybe it’s worth to take a look at Sshguard. It should work with IPv6 and the homepage says that it supports dovecot etc.
