Modifying DNS Zones Manually

At times, it becomes necessary to modify the DNS Zone files of nsd manually. The config is in /etc/nsd/zones

As the MIAB script will automatically add my IPv4 address as the NAT address, which is incorrect and annoying.

So, I edited the config files in /etc/nsd/zones/ and now, after I removed the A record, the zone looks beautiful when I checked it from a web based nslookup utility.

I hope this helped other newbies here who had the same problem I faced.

No, there is never a time when DNS zone files need to be edited manually. Ever.
