MIAB randomly hanging

Hi there,

My MIAB v67 keeps hanging with the console screen full of this:

This is running on ProxMox with storage via NFS to a Synology share. The base OS is Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS with all patches up to date.

This is the second build that does this. I built this as a replacement VM when this began happening on the original VM. I installed 22.04.3 and then SCP’d the backup files to restore here.

Roll forward about 10 days and this one is behaving the same way.

Clearly something is amiss - can anyone point me towards the logs that could help me work this out?

Thanks

David

Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a ProxMox server.
There seems to be an issue, that users are reporting, with ProxMox that looks similar to yours.[1][2]
I didn’t find a solution on their forum that solves the problem.

Thank you - this is definitely the right track. I haven’t made much progress but I do also have the duplicity problem so for now I’m going to fix duplicity and get some fresh backups then go around again but not update the ubuntu base install.

My MIAB only has the service ports accessible from the interwebs and I need it to be more reliable than it currently is :+1:
