MiAB & existing website

I have a business connection with one of my ISP connections. I’m hosting two things locally.

  1. a Mastodon instance - at the root domain. mytld.io
  2. email for that domain. mail.mytld.io

I’d like to move email offsite.

Can I set up MiAB, and have it take over DNS for box.mytld.io (like the instructions say), and just also create a DNS “A” record that points back to my local IP for the Mastodon instance?

Would this work?
