It’s not currently possible to have the box forward through Mandrill, but you can set your own mail client’s SMTP server to Mandrill (or anything similar) if you follow Mandrill’s DNS instructions to set the DKIM record (either using Custom DNS in the box’s /admin page or external dns). Setting a correct SPF record might be trickier if you send mail both through Mandrill and the box.

It’s not on the roadmap, but I suppose anything is possible.
(My own experience with Mandrill is that deliverability isn’t necessarily any better.)
