  • The question is: Can we build a MiAB server to be online just under an IPv6 IP address (without an IPv4 one enabled)?

It should be possible.

It may not be a good idea, however:

  • Not everyone that you want to email with (incoming & outgoing) will support IPv6.
  • Brute force login attacks are easier over IPv6 because the address space is effectively unbounded.
