service spamassassin status
spamd is not running
I just updated the server and I remember seeing this on the log:
SpamAssassin Mail Filter Daemon: disabled, see /etc/default/spamassassin
And
service spampd status
/usr/sbin/spampd is running as 1814
Up, anyone can answer this?
Nobody on this Forum knows the answer? 
After 3 years spamassassin has been updated. Maybe that is a reason
I dunno if spamd must run as a service by mailinabox, so I just put a 1 in the /etc/default/spamassin
and rebooted the machine. That solved another issue on my mailserver as well
