Is it possible to have alternative urls to access webmail for each domain?

Question 1:

I have a mail server (box.mailserver.com) that handles mail for two other servers (webserver1.com and webserver2.com) that serve websites.

Right now to access webmail for all 3 servers I would go to https://box.mailserver.com/mail

I would like to be able to access webmail by going to the following urls:

https://mail.mailserver.com
https://mail.webserver1.com
https://mail.webserver2.com

Is this possible?

Question 2:

My mail client uses box.mailserver.com as the IMAP/SMTP host.

Is it possible to also allow the host to be: mail.webserver1.com and mail.webserver2.com so that they are specific to each server?

I’m trying to figure this out as well, as I administer servers for multiple small businesses and was hoping to move away from dreamhost entirely.

(1) would be tricky.

(2) should work fine if you install a multi-domain SSL certificate and ensure that the other domains resolve to the box’s IP.
