There are some interesting Roundcube plugins that I would like to use. Is there a high risk of breaking everything? I can accept a moderate risk but I wonder if it’s better not to try.
Everytime you update it will remove the plugins - However you can run roundcube (or other webmail app) on another server and configure it to connect to MIAB and use that instead.
