Incorrect TLS Certificate?

I have autoconfig.domain.com, autodiscover.domain.com, and for both www and non-www, there is domain.com. When I goto mta-sts.domain.com though, the certificate is autoconfig.domain.com, not MTA-STS-sts.domain.com (there isn’t one with that name)>

Is this correct? I just installed today with a fresh install 18.04, etc and everything is working, but “MTA-STS policy is missing: STSFetchResult.NONE” so in troubleshooting trying to fix that (which may be a DNS propagation delay issue) I saw this, I would have thought the certificate for mta-sts would be different than the one for autoconfig.

Running ssl_certificates.py shows the same thing, nothing is updated by that command, it just confirms what I saw in the browser.

Any help is appreciated.

Check the propagation of the text record for _mta-sts.domain.tld
I believe that’s what the status check is looking for.

blinkingline Thank you. I added it manually to /etc/nsd/zones/domain.com.txt and that fixed it!
It was visible in the admin web page, but not in the actual file. Very weird.

Thanks again.
