Anyone have an Idea of the best way to import emails out of gmail?

I used imapsync, it is a free tool you can find it here --> http://imapsync.lamiral.info/
It worked very well to import about 4 gigs of email. It is run from command line, and took about 3 hours to do the 4 gigs I had.
