Is it possible to get ActiveSync working with MiaB? My current provider offers ActiveSync with IMAP email and I wondered if this is possible? Thanks.
IMAP and ActiveSync are not the same or even work together I’d like to point that out. They are different protocols that do the same thing though.
MIAB supports z-push which is an open source ActiveSync replacement and should be compatible with modern devices and applications.
I am having trouble with Outlook 2016 contact/calendar sync although 2013 works fine on IMAP with ActiveSync.
That z-push looks promising and might be the solution to my Outlook 2016 contact sync woes.
Does your current provider use CalDAV or CardDAV? Also since this is not an issue related to MIAB please move this to a PM.
