How to have a quasi-Global Address List using Nextcloud and Webmail

I dearly want to have a GAL and I am sure I can do that with Nextcloud Contacts, BUT I am really struggling. I have set up two MIAB accounts and logged into each of their Nextcloud control panels. I have used the Webmail interface on one to import a load of contacts and then make some groups for mailing lists that (very slowly) syncronice to the Nextcloud account of the mail account BUT, i cannot figure out how to share the Contacts List and the groups with other webmail users.

The doc talk about using Circles and Teams and so on, but I just cannot get the second account to see the shared contacts list using either webmail or Nextcloud for the second account.

Has anyone succeeded in making this work?

A global address list isn’t part of the project’s scope and isn’t something that is supported by this project.

IF you can do it in nextcloud I recommend googling to that affect or posting on the nextcloud support forums.
